This policy explains which data the ZAFA app and the wedding galleries on zafahost.com use, why, and who it is shared with. ZAFA Photography Studio, Kingdom of Bahrain, is responsible for this data.

The ZAFA app (team)
The app is for the ZAFA team (admin and photographers). It uses:
- Account details: name, email, phone number and team role — entered by the admin so you can sign in and receive your work.
- Work data: the events assigned to you (name, date, time, place, notes), your replies, tasks and your fees.
- Photos and videos you upload: only the files you choose from your photo library or camera; they are stored in ZAFA’s own archive for that event.
- Notifications: your device’s notification token, device name and app version — to deliver notifications to you.
- Face ID / fingerprint: handled entirely on your device; we never receive any biometric data.
Wedding galleries
Each wedding gallery is a private link for one groom with the photos and videos of his wedding, protected by a password where needed. We keep the visit count, the favourites the groom picks, and the invitation-card details if he prepares one from the gallery. Galleries close after a set period.
Why we use it
- Planning events and assigning them to photographers.
- Uploading and delivering wedding photos and videos.
- Sending notifications and reminders.
- The team’s internal accounting.
What we never do
- No ads in the app.
- We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we use no third-party analytics.
Who it is shared with
The data is kept on ZAFA’s own servers in Bahrain. We use these services only to deliver notifications and messages:
- Apple Push Notification service (Apple devices)
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android devices)
- Our email provider for team emails
These services receive only the notification text and the device token.
Security and retention
All connections are encrypted (HTTPS) and passwords are stored hashed. Account data is kept while the account is active; photos and videos are part of the client’s event archive.
Your rights and account deletion
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or the deletion of your account by contacting us. We delete the account and its data within 30 days, except accounting records we must keep by law.
Children
The app is for the team only and is not directed at children.
